By downloading or using Adebabay, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Use of the Service

Adebabay is a marketplace for diaspora communities to buy, sell, and connect. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

Pricing and Payments

Free tier: Early users receive 10 free listings during year one, then 1 free listing per year thereafter.

Pay per post: $10 per listing beyond your free allowance.

Boost: $5 to pin a listing to the top of its category for 7 days.

Business subscription: $15/month for unlimited listings, a verified badge on all your listings, and 2 free boosts per month. Subscriptions renew automatically each month and can be cancelled at any time from your Profile.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Refunds and Cancellations

Pay-per-post and boost payments are non-refundable once the listing or boost is activated.

Business subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Business benefits until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused days.

Listing Lifecycle

Active listings are automatically reviewed after 30 days. You will receive a notification asking whether your need has been met. If you do not respond within 15 days, the listing is removed. You can renew or mark a listing as fulfilled at any time from the listing detail screen.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Adebabay a non-exclusive license to display your content within the app. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listings.

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass or threaten other users
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Scrape or reproduce content without permission
• Attempt to circumvent payment requirements

Disclaimers

Adebabay is a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We do not verify listings, guarantee transactions, or mediate disputes. Always use your judgment and transact safely.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Adebabay is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
